On July 10th, we will have our own Dutch Shark Society boat for SharkaTag, and all participants can catch, tag and release sharks! This time, we are joined by marine biologist Dorien Schröder, who will tell us more about sharks.

There is a strict code of conduct, every participant will be instructed about handling the sharks.

If you want to join us, send an email message to Peter Verhoog at peter@dutchsharksociety.org. If you have to cancel for personal reasons after payment, we cannot give you a refund, as we have to book and pay the vessel “Pirate II” in advance. You can however arrange for someone else to go. If the event is cancelled because of the weather, you will receive a refund.

The costs are EUR 70 for a whole day including a goody bag with T-shirt, cap and laminated ID-card. Every participant receives an full color underwater picture of a Dutch smooth-hound shark in the Eastern Schelde and the date as a souvenir.
