Kimberley Deumer is going to South Africa for an internship with White Shark Projects. She’ll be there from August 13 till November 2.
White Shark Projects is an organization dedicated to the conservation of the white shark populations. During this internship, Kimberley will observe the sharks by means of cage diving and from the boat, there will be teaching about the sharks in schools, lectures will be given and much more!
Kimberley introduces herself:
“Hi! I am Kimberley and I am 19 years old. I’ve been crazy about sharks since I was 10. Because of this I have made the choice to make my hobby into my work.
I am now following Coastal and Sea Management course at Van Hall Larenstein in Leeuwarden, and this internship is in my second year. If you want to experience this adventure together with me, you can read my short weekly blog on Facebook! Have fun reading!”
